Hi,I am very interested in going to a castle; but in Europe. I am especially interested in going to a midevil castle. I wanted to know atleast three important parts of the castle like for example the Baron's hall and the gate. The last one I would probably like would be the king's room. .I just want to know very detailed things like what floor it was on, what it contained, why was it important, etc... Please if you can do me this favor so I can basically get a backgorund. I dont want something short please, I want something long so that way I can recieve alot of information and tell my dear wife. She is interested but she is not convinced so that is why I want detailed information. Besides since you guys know so much information of castles it would be a breeze for you guys to recieve alot of information on the castle rooms. I am retired and am very excited to go to an actual castle, specifically a castle in midevil times. I have not been in a vacation in a long time so what better place to go than a castle.

Hello, I am donjuan, only 22 years old, I have been so interested in
the medieval time period era, and had always enjoyed learning history
on those times. .I am searching for information on castles, palaces,
and Royalty Kings QUEENS, Empors and Empresses of all around
this general time region of the Black Death era. .Simple History books,
do not give me enough info on all of these General leaders and
Royalties of this time region. .And also, if it is all possible a way where,
I could actually find information on locating these castles, and knowing
if these castles may still be around today, since it has been centuries
ago of that general time region, history has been my most dedicated
study, and I would like to know if any of those castles are still of

from what i am told personally in my own history books when i WAS a kid....
old times AND old castles were damp/cold/breezy/....hard to keep heat..
i for one would not like to be in one back-in-those-days......
many people died just of exposure to the elements of like pneumonia and such.....

it was not as romantic as some folks seem to think,,,,,
but that is just how i personally was taught.

hey areil i think u may be fine Cool

but thats not the point kings ruled like they were or cant be deafeated by anyone take king arthur he was mighty but he did not measure up to alexander the great who died of war married a outsider of his kingdom became crazy and was pathetic once his friend dide so maybe king arthur was better all i know is that kings act like they have it all together but they have problems too. Wink
