I plan to be in Ireland for my holiday. I would like to find out which castle was used by the then 22 year old Francis Ford Coppola when he filmed one of his first horror movies, Dementia 13. For anyone from Britain it was released under the title The Haunted and the Hunted. The castle is called Haloran castle in the movie. The movie is a cult classic. It makes the rounds on late night horror movie shows everywhere. Its was an ultra low budjet movie that only took three days to film. Since it was filmed so quickly the locations were chosen around Wicklow which is south of Dublin. It has to be close by. Many films such as Braveheart were filmed around Wicklow due to the area's stunning scenery. I tried to find the castle the last time I was there but failed. Any help would be of use!
