HELLLLLLLLp! i need help on my senior project. i need to know what it was like to have a wedding in midevil times and what their wedding cakes looked like. i would also really like to know how the cakes were made if that is possible. someone please help. thanx Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I dont really know a whole lot, Ive just been online looking for a wedding cake and lots of websites have history about wedding cakes and traditions so maybe look there. Sorry Im not much more help but it is a start for you and hope it helps.

Go to this site http://antir. .sca. .org/ this is for a group called the Society for Creative Anachronism or the SCA they specialize in the middle ages including food, garb (clothing), and events such as weddings, kings court, and various other things.

Type in midieval weddings in Google and there will be lots of info...it helped me!!! Very Happy

Well, to answer your question, if you haven't found the answer already, the guests at a medieval wedding would typically bring large crackers, and then stack them...the bride and groom would then try to kiss over them...Most of the English area did not have sugar readily available...chocolate was invented by monks and then slowly gained popularity around the Rennaisance...anyway, I hope that helps you!!!
