| I fondly recall our family outtings to Lamert Castle, well
over 20 years ago. When I first found this sight, I knew that Lamert
Castle had to be included. It is the most beautiful & practical
residential scale castle ever built on the east coast. Looking upon
Garret Mountain can sweep one away with it's magestic lure. The castle has recently undergone millions of dollars in restoration.
Although I now live 2000 miles away, and have not seen the restoration, I
would encourage that you put Lambert Castle on your MUST SEE list. Patterson also has many other historical sights worth visiting such as the
Great Falls. |
