This wonderful palace sits at the top of the hill as you disembark from the train station.  The sky is a wonderful postcard blue, and you will fall in love with it.  Though the outside is misleading, once you enter thru the doors it is fabulous.  You will see a wonderful Fresco which surrounds the inner courtyard of the palace.  Then wonderful state apartments which somehow still manage to make you realize that people still live there.  If you want to see a palace that truly allows you to feel that the monarchy still reigns, this is the palace for you. Aside from that, the view from the palace at every angle is postcard perfect!
