The  Castle of King Edward

 King Edward lived in this castle during the Middle Ages. 

                    FAN148.jpg (39086 bytes) His wife, Queen Ann, lived with him. They were married when they were very young. The wedding was arranged by their parents.
YOUTH1.jpg (14351 bytes) Half the children died before they reached 15 years of age. 

 Their children  were the heirs of their estate.

 Boys practiced using a lance and riding a horse.

At a young age, they were  prepared  to get married.
