| Chateau Aigle is in a small town near Montreau. It is not
as large as Chillon Castle which is nearby, but is just as beautiful. It
was built to protect the entrance to the valley in which Aigle,
Switzerland, is located. The mountain scenery around the Chateau and
Aigle is some of the most breath-taking in western Switzerland. |
