Doune Castle was a key location for the cult film Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Historic Scotland is hosting an informal event at Doune to see actors re-create scenes from the film and other Monty Python sketches.

The event takes place on 5th September from 12 noon till 4 pm. You can even take the chance to perform your own favourite piece with prizes for the best performance and best Python costume
