I'm the same guy who just posted the pic...

BTW... there are several versions of the story... and I can tell you that IT WASN'T A KID DRESSED UP IN A BUNNY SUIT ON HALOWEEN WHO KILLED HIMSELF.

The one I've found to be most true (two of my friends were OBSESSED with this and actually did research like looking for records in the city records kinda' stuff) is that there was an old man who's wife died, and who kept rabbits in his yard. Kids liked the rabbits and after his wife died he started paying more attention to the kids playing with the bunnies. After a while... kids started going missing and they searched for them. They kicked the old man's door in and a STENCH poured out. They saw several of the kids' skins hung up around the house (just their skins). They later found the rest of their bodies strung up from the bridge (skinless and rotting) from meathooks on rope.

That's the version with the most evidence to back it up.

Others include an escaped mental patient who dressed in a bunny suit, an escaped convict who while escaping was shot in the leg so he hopped like a bunny, and so on.... all of which involved stringing kids up from the bridge.

ok i have been there and i have it all on tape to prove it we got there and heard a horrifing scream and then we pulled up to the berige in our car and likea dumbass i shut it off and i couldn't turn it on and you knoe the weird thing about all of this is i just got it inspected that day new batterie...... if ne one has ne coments or wants to know more emai lme at markshark7@yahoo. .com

I live in fairfax, va and i've heard soo many different stories about the bunnyman.. one that i've heard that no one seems to know about goes back to the 1800s.. apparently the bridge has been named bunnyman bridge for a looong time. There is a house near the bridge and a doctor used to live there in the mid-1800s... so families would bring their sick children to him. What he would do is give the kids sedatives so that it would look as if they are dead. he would then tell the family that the child iz dead and they should leave the body for cremation. when the child would wake up, the doctor would rape him/her. and then hang him/her on the bridge... i don't know what the real truth behind the bridge iz.. but this iz one story that i keep hearing too... Confused

ya bunny mans bridge, ha ha ya right is what i said at first im 25 years old and im from west virginia. At first i thought it was fake so i saw it to be funny if me and my friends went up there to scare the hell out of my friend so we went up there and stood by the bridge for 2 min talking, we heard cops about a mile down the roade so we said "ok lets run throught then get out of here'' bad move my friend went first then befor you know it he was gone it was about 4 sec befor we relized he poofed. I looked up and saw his mangled body spiked into a tree branch like he had been - out of a jet engine. By then the cop was there he saw it as soon as he got out of his car. First he thought it was a sick joke then he saw the blood dripping he called back up we were there for about 3 more houres wile authorites cleand up the mess. Do not think it is a joke, im not really supposed to be telling anyone about this so take it as a warning bunny mans bridge is no joke it is extremely dangerous beware. Shocked

dude...me and my family went up there..they wanted me to go first..so i did and i had a flashlight and my camera just to see on camera if something happened you know..and something was stoping me from coming out the other side..i mean [honestly] throughout the whole thing i was freaked but i was showing it and i was following the legend and said BunnyMan BunnyMan BunnyMan 3 times in the middle and then nothing happened but wind..and then at the other end of it i could not get through ..its on camera ..there was SOMETHING there that was not leting me out the other way. i was hitting it and everything .. whatever it was it wouldnt let me out that way and so i walked the other way to get out [kinda bummed] and i could not get out that way either. my brother was telling me stuff to do that the ledgens say to do. and i did and i finnaly could get out. but I felt no sign of death. or haunting. and usually i can feel that. Question

but i do have respect for that brigde now.

You all have your own verions of the story, but i live in Fairfax Station, Virginia, i live down One Penny drive, if that proves enough to you i attend Robinson Secondary School im in 10th grade, and if i were you i wouldn't go there.... you never know what could happen... remember the old saying... oh how does it go? oh yeah "anything's possible" Just remember that the next time you go near that bridge, cause im gonna be the one laughing my ass of when ur dead bodies hanging from the bridge lol, jk but i wouldn't go there if i were you lol...

the bridge is creppy thats for damn sure. some legends that have come up are fake and against history. one thing clifton does not have a library i know i live there so that story is fake but murders have happened at the bridge and there is a bunny man, stay away from the bridge not only for your life but the fact that cops guard it and have cameras set up that's how they know people are there. at midnight the worst place to be is under the bridge cuz ur gonna die. it's happened b4 and cops guard it to stop kids from getting stoned and trespassing and being killed. who ever says they it's fake needs to shut up since they don't live in this area and havent been there. its a freaky place in day or night.

Anyway, yes his soul and energy would still be around the area of the bridge because thats probably where he spent his last days or minutes of his life.
